We believe well-run businesses have a responsibility beyond their own walls.

Giving back isn’t a marketing exercise for us. It’s something we’ve built into how we operate, choosing partnerships that create practical, measurable impact in areas that matter to our clients, our communities, and the world we work in.

Supporting Small Businesses Globally

We contribute to Kiva, a microfinance organization that that provides access to capital for entrepreneurs around the world. These loans support small businesses, education, and local economies, often in places where traditional banking simply isn’t an option.

Each time we onboard a new client or complete a significant project, we donate to Kiva. Those funds are used to issue small business loans, which are repaid over time and then re-loaned to others. This creates a compounding effect, where a single contribution can support multiple entrepreneurs across different countries.

“When funds are available in our Kiva account, I review and select loans together with my son. It’s a deliberate way to teach awareness of how people live and work around the world, and how access to capital creates opportunity for individuals and families.”

70 loans funded
59 countries supported

We like this model because it’s practical, measurable, and sustainable. Capital is reused, impact compounds, and support reaches people who are actively working to improve their circumstances.

Environmental Responsibility

When we purchase extended warranties or responsibly process electronic waste, we fund tree-planting initiatives through Veritree. These contributions are directly tied to hardware lifecycle decisions, helping offset some of the environmental impact that comes with maintaining modern infrastructure. It’s not a perfect solution, but it’s a deliberate one.

Veritree are a Canadian company who partners globally with businesses to plant trees, enhance biodiversity and restore ecosystems. As of 2025, Veritree has globally planted over 100 million trees.

Supporting Access to Dental Care

We also support Cura Smiles, a nonprofit that provides free dental care to underserved communities. Many of our clients operate in healthcare and dental environments, so supporting access to essential care felt like a natural extension of the work we already do. Good health should not depend on circumstance.

A Practical Approach to Giving

We focus on causes where contributions lead to direct, tangible outcomes. No vague promises. No vanity projects. Just consistent support where it can do real good.

As Outback Cyber grows, so will our ability to give back. We see that as part of building a business that lasts
